We are currently seeking a passionate and highly skilled Sommelier to elevate our guests' experience at Castlemartyr Resort.
Knowledge and experience in the following areas is essential:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a 5 Star Hotel as a Sommelier
* Advanced certification in wine studies (e.g., Master Sommelier, Certified Sommelier) strongly preferred.

* Be an inspirational leader who is passionate about creating highly energised teams to provide world class service.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Be fluent in spoken and written English.
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Duties include but are not exclusive to:
* Collaborate closely with the restaurant team to pair wines with menu items and create memorable dining experiences for guests.
* Proficiency in cellar management, inventory control, and financial analysis.
* Uphold impeccable standards of service and hospitality, consistently exceeding guest expectations and fostering a culture of excellence among the staff.
* Build key relationships with suppliers to ensure a creative wine list whilst achieving financial targets.
