Key Responsibilities:

* To work closely with a designated team to develop and implement individualized support plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each participant.

* To provide direct support and assistance to participants in daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.

* To promote social inclusion by encouraging participation in community activities, recreational programs, and educational opportunities.

* To maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to confidentiality and data protection protocols.

* To collaborate with healthcare professionals, therapists, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support and care.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
">

* A relevant third-level qualification in Social Care, Education, or a related field (QQI Level 6 Major Award or higher).
">
* At least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, preferably in a similar setting.
">
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with participants, colleagues, and external partners.
">
* Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing needs and priorities.
">
* A commitment to upholding high standards of infection prevention and control, as well as knowledge of Positive Behaviour Supports.
