A leading engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee substation works on a large-scale industrial project in Mulhuddart, Dublin.
This is a key site-based role responsible for the day-to-day management of works on site, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
This position will suit a Site Manager with experience in electrical infrastructure, substations, or large-scale industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all on-site activities for substation works
Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site personnel
Ensure works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and programme
Maintain high standards of health & safety across the site
Monitor daily progress and report to the Project Manager
Ensure quality control and compliance with project requirements
Manage site logistics, materials, and deliveries
Resolve any on-site issues and ensure programme targets are met
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager on substation, electrical, or infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of HV/MV systems and substation construction (desirable)
Background in electrical or civil engineering projects
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong focus on health & safety and quality
Ability to manage teams and work to tight deadlines
