DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Service Advisor (Automotive, Plant, Power Generation) to join our team specializing in Service for our Distribution Business Unit in Dublin, Ireland.
This role may require a 10% of international travel frequency.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Team Leadership & Coordination: Ensure effective supervision of Service Technicians to meet all service and customer requirements, promoting accountability and high performance.
* Performance Management: Conduct regular reviews with key stakeholders to track team performance and implement improvement plans where needed to meet branch targets.
* Process Compliance: Take ownership of service processes and procedures, enforcing adherence through audits and analysis of KPI data to drive operational excellence.
* Technical Support: Act as the primary technical resource for staff, customers, and dealers, resolving issues efficiently and enhancing service quality.
* Warranty Efficiency: Lead training on warranty processes to ensure timely job closure and maximize claim recovery, improving financial accuracy and speed.
* Health, Safety & Environment: Enforce all HS&E standards on-site, ensuring risk assessments, PPE use, and safe work practices are consistently followed.
* Employee Engagement: Promote a positive work environment by supporting staff welfare, encouraging open communication, and involving team members in key decisions.
* Asset & Compliance Management: Maintain and secure company assets while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and upholding high housekeeping standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES

* Strong Leadership & People Management: Ability to effectively coordinate and supervise technicians, conduct performance reviews, implement development plans, and foster a supportive, fair, and communicative team environment.
* Technical Knowledge & Problem-Solving: Solid understanding of service procedures, warranty processes, and technical systems to provide expert support, ensure job accuracy, and serve as a reliable point of contact for staff and customers.
* Process & Compliance Focus: Commitment to enforcing service standards, HS&E regulations, and company procedures through regular audits, data analysis, and adherence to safety, risk, and environmental protocols.
* Adaptability & Customer Orientation: Flexibility to meet the needs of a diverse customer base, while maintaining high service standards, clean work environments, and proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
* High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
* This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
* Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
* Significant maintenance & job planning/scheduling experience.
