Join our fabulous team at the Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort as a Golf Club Operations Assistant
We are currently seeking a Golf Club Operations Assistant to join the team at Farnham Estate. Helping to ensure the smooth day to day operations of our club, providing top-tier service to members and guests while supporting various areas including the pro shop, course operations and events.

We operate an 18-hole Jeff Howes designed Golf Course, 10Km of ancient woodlands & superb award-winning health spa's facilities. In our newly renovated Ballroom, few settings for Cavan weddings are as romantic or beautiful as Farnham Estate.

Role/Responsibilities
Assist with the day-to-day running of the Pro-shop retail and general Golf Operations activities.

Provide a warm and welcoming reception and environment for all patrons.

Daily promotion and upselling golf events and Pro-shop goods to maximise sales.

Regular display cleaning, merchandising, replenishing and stock management.

* Process bookings and tee-time requests including email and telephone enquiries in a friendly and efficient manner.
* Assist with point-of-sale activities including cash handling and other functions.
* Maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of all resort-wide products and services ¨
* Promote and upsell site wide services and facilities where possible.
* Communicate operational and management information to golfers as required.
* Any duties required by management to ensure the delivery of 5-star service.

Requirements
About The Role

* Will have previous experience in a similar role demonstrating a keen interest.
* Will possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Will be flexible in their working hours.
* Will have fluency in English, both oral and written
* A keen interest and knowledge of golf is desirable.
