We are looking for a
Payroll Analyst
to join our
HR team
as part of our financial services business in
Dublin
.
As part of the global expansion of the Maples Group's financial services offering, our Dublin office opened its doors in ****.

Key Duties
Key Responsibilities
Process end-to-end payroll (semi-monthly/monthly), ensuring accuracy across earnings, deductions, and adjustments
Manage off-cycle payments, terminations, and payroll corrections
Ensure compliance with local regulations and statutory requirements
Review and reconcile payroll reports (gross-to-net) and meet all payroll deadlines
Analysis & Reporting
Analyse payroll data to identify discrepancies and trends
Prepare reports for Finance, HR, and Management
Support internal and external audits
Systems & Compliance
Maintain payroll data in HRIS (Workday experience an advantage)
Support system updates, testing, and issue resolution
Ensure adherence to tax, employment laws, and internal controls, including year-end processing
Stakeholder Support
Ensure that any queries/requests related to Payroll will be addressed in a professional and timely manner.
Resolve payroll related queries, issues, and disputes.
Advise HR and managers on payroll policies and procedures
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, HR or related fields (or equivalent experience).
2 – 4 years of payroll experience.
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax requirements.
Proficiency in Excel and payroll/HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, SAP, Dayforce, etc.).
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Experience in managing payroll for multiple countries preferably Ireland, United Kingdom, Luxembourg, and Netherlands.
