About the role
We are seeking an experienced
Civil Project Manager
to join a multi-disciplinary engineering team delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This is a key leadership position responsible for managing the civil engineering scope of works from design through to construction, commissioning, and client handover.
The role offers the opportunity to lead high-value projects, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and contribute to the sustainable development of essential infrastructure.
What you'll do
* Lead and manage the civil engineering and building scope of works across assigned projects.
* Ensure compliance with
health, safety, environmental, and sustainability standards
.
* Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, and process).
* Manage project performance, including programme, budget, risk, and opportunity.
* Oversee procurement, subcontractor engagement, and cash flow management.
* Provide leadership, mentoring, and development to engineering staff.
* Contribute to tendering opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Promote a collaborative "one-team" culture across project teams.
Requirements
* Minimum
5 years' experience
in a similar project management role.
* Degree in
Civil Engineering
(Level 8 Honours or equivalent).
* Experience in
water and wastewater projects
(preferred).
* Strong knowledge of the
Safety, Health, and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations
.
* Proven experience in civil works, including earthworks, concrete, pipelaying, and buildings.
* Skilled in
programme management software (MS Project)
and MS Office.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
* Full driving license required.
