The successful candidate will work on high-value, complex transactions for corporate clients and institutions.
The role offers exposure to Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), equity capital markets, debt financing, and strategic advisory.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Execution: Support senior team members in the execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, and negotiation support
Financial Modelling: Develop, maintain, and interrogate complex financial models to support investment decisions and valuation analyses
Client Advice: Prepare presentations, pitch books, and reports for clients on capital structure, financing options, and market opportunities
Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on industries, competitors, and economic trends to identify growth opportunities for clients
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all transactions adhere to Central Bank of Ireland regulations and stock exchange rules
Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, lawyers, accountants, and other advisors to move transactions to completion
Requirements
Education: A strong third-level degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, Accounting, or Economics.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, transaction services, or professional services (Big 4).
Professional Qualification: Qualified or partially qualified (ACA, ACCA, CFA, or similar).
Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential.
Analytical Ability: Strong numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client engagement.
