EHS Engineer II-Hybrid
Fantastic opportunity to join a large multinational Medical Device Company in Cork.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing or chemical/biological safety.

About the role:
Work week:
Monday-Friday 39hr week with a 1pm Friday finish
Hybrid:
2 days work from home offered.
Responsibilities
Support new projects to ensure operational EHS readiness.
Complete EHS Design reviews of equipment and facilities.
Manage the company's safety training needs analysis for all employees within the organisation
Plan, develop and coordinate the company's risk management programme.
Develop and review Safe operating procedures.
Develop and implement health promotion programmes within the business.
Maintain compliance with EHS regulatory requirements including ISO45001, ISO14001 & ISO50001 and Global EHS standards.
Provide support and advice to safety representatives and safety committees.
Review and approve Site Safety permits
Support sites chemical management and IH programs.
Participate in the company's safety walks and internal audit program
Maintain the sites chemical inventory.
Support the site's waste management program.
Collaborate and support other functions within the business in promoting Environmental, Health and Safety behaviours.
Qualifications
Health and safety qualification with a minimum of 3years post qualification experience in Manufacturing environment preferably medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing
Experience in Chemical and Biological Safety would be an advantage.
Ability to influence at all levels in the organisation.
