We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Auditor to spearhead financial audits, assess risks and develop audit strategies for our clients in Tralee, County Kerry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and oversee financial audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
* Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans to address potential issues
* Supervise audit teams, providing guidance and ensuring quality work
* Review financial statements and internal controls for accuracy and effectiveness
* Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and clients
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
* Professional certification (CPA, ACCA) preferred
* 5 years of experience in auditing
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office
