Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Officer
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the development of our Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Management System.
We are seeking a talented individual with excellent interpersonal skills, who is able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating our health & safety policy, safety statement, environmental compliance programme, risk assessments including chemical RAs. They will also play a key role in monitoring and enforcing the implementation of our safety management system (including hazard identification risk assessment). Additionally they will ensure strict adherence site rules by employees contractors carry out audits inspections address non-conformances identified contribute toolbox talks communications across organisation manage hazardous non-hazardous waste shipments control PPE first aid stock levels facilities responsible H&S Training program company wide liaise customers suppliers regulatory bodies consultants auditors regarding audit preparedness develop complete submit required environmental studies assessments notifications reports within timelines contributed towards management industrial emissions License Key Responsibilities:
• Work as part of OSHE team ensuring provision safe productive work environment Airport Ashbourne site
• Assist OSHE Manager maintain update health safety policy safety statement environmental compliance
• Maintain update Risk Assessments including chemical RA
• Monitor enforce implementation developmental Company's occupational OHES Management System including OSHMS initiatives workplace risks caused by foreseeable hazards (including residual) seen or anticipated on premises during his/her working hours contributing operational activities effect upon productivity quality output ie.
loss/damage property/health arising business activity ;
• providing daily supervision guidance support junior personnel enabling them acquire knowledge experience developing confidence their abilities.
