Job Description
Rathnure Killanne Blackstairs C.E has a vacancy for an Environmental Worker to work in the Ballindaggin Area. The position is a 52‑week project and requires compliance with Community Employment eligibility criteria.
Responsibilities
Grounds maintenance, including cutting grass, strimming and pesticide spraying.
Cleaning and upkeep of community and church grounds, community hall, community park and surrounding areas.
Sweeping, litter picking and general environmental awareness of all community areas.
Use of ride‑on lawnmower (training provided if necessary).
Qualifications
Horticulture background or experience is an advantage.
Experience with ride‑on lawnmower advantage.
No prior experience required; accredited training will be provided.
