Job Description
The Cybersecurity & Technology Controls (CTC) group at JPMorgan Chase aligns the firm's cybersecurity, access management, controls, and resiliency teams. The group partners proactively with all lines of business and functions to design, adopt, and integrate appropriate controls, deliver efficient and consistent processes and solutions, and drive automation of controls. Its primary goal is to enable the business by keeping the firm protected, stable, and resilient. This role is within the CTC Product Security team, aligned with the Azure Cloud Enablement (ACE) programme.
Job Responsibilities:
* Support the execution and enhancement of a long-term information risk and control strategy to secure public cloud assets.
* Assess security controls related to cloud services, platforms, and architectural components based on risk.
* Assist business technology teams in understanding and implementing control requirements across cloud architectures.
* Conduct security reviews of infrastructure-as-code for cloud platform development.
* Contribute to documentation and support agile security processes.
* Coordinate with wider CTC teams to ensure platform integration with security operations, threat intelligence, IAM, and network security.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
* A strong interest in understanding and securing public cloud technology.
* Team-oriented, comfortable working in virtual and office environments.
* Self-disciplined, self-managed, motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with management, peers, regulators, and stakeholders.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
* Cloud certifications such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are advantageous.
* Experience in developing, engineering, or architecting within a public cloud environment.
* Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
* Understanding of DevOps or CI/CD pipelines.
