Position OverviewEvexia Rehabilitation Center seeks a highly qualified Healthcare Business Development Representative based in Ireland to establish and grow our presence in the Irish market. This role will focus on developing relationships with key healthcare stakeholders to facilitate patient referrals to our specialized neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation facility in Greece through the EU Cross Border Directive pathway.See (under construction) and Company BackgroundEvexia is a leading Greek rehabilitation center with 30 years of experience in neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation. Our internationally certified 287-bed facility provides comprehensive treatment programs for conditions including stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease. We aim to address critical gaps in Ireland's rehabilitation services through the EU Cross Border Directive pathway.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with key healthcare stakeholders across Ireland, including HSE officials, private insurers (VHI, Laya, Irish Life Health), medical referrers (neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, GPs), and patient advocacy organizationsCreate awareness of Evexia's specialized rehabilitation programs through targeted presentations, informational materials, and stakeholder meetingsFacilitate patient referrals through the EU Cross Border Directive pathway, ensuring smooth administrative processes and documentationGuide patients and referring clinicians through the Cross Border Directive application and reimbursement proceduresEstablish strategic partnerships with healthcare organizations, medical tourism facilitators, and patient advocacy groupsRepresent Evexia at relevant healthcare conferences, networking events, and industry forums in IrelandMonitor the Irish healthcare landscape for policy changes, market opportunities, and competitive activitiesProvide regular market intelligence reports and performance updates to Evexia leadershipCollaborate with Evexia's clinical and administrative teams to ensure Irish patients receive appropriate treatment plans and documentationRequired QualificationsMinimum 5 years' experience in healthcare business development, medical sales, or related role within the Irish healthcare sectorDemonstrated understanding of the Irish healthcare system, particularly HSE structures, referral pathways, and the EU Cross Border DirectiveEstablished network of contacts within the Irish healthcare sector, including relationships with healthcare providers, insurers, and/or HSE officialsExperience navigating complex healthcare administrative processes and documentation requirementsProven track record of building and maintaining relationships with healthcare stakeholdersStrong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare service provisionExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively explain clinical services to both medical professionals and patientsBachelor's degree or higher in business, healthcare management, life sciences, or related fieldValid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout IrelandPreferred QualificationsExperience with cross-border healthcare, medical tourism, or international patient coordinationKnowledge of neurological and/or orthopedic rehabilitation servicesPrior experience with the EU Cross Border Directive or Treatment Abroad SchemePrevious work experience within the HSE, private health insurance, or medical tourism facilitationUnderstanding of rehabilitation pathways for neurological conditionsExperience working with patient advocacy organizationsPrevious experience in establishing a new healthcare service or market entryProfessional healthcare qualification (nursing, therapy, healthcare administration)Project management certification or demonstrated experienceJob Type: Full-timePay: €45,000.00-€50,000.00 per yearApplication question(s):Do you have an established network of contacts within the Irish healthcare sector?
