My client is actively looking for a Helpdesk Engineer fluent in German for a daily rate contract based in Dublin.
Hybrid working options are available for this role.
Minimum 6 months of proven experience on a helpdesk dealing directly with end-user queries.
Fluency in German is essential for this role.
Providing 1st level technical & system support to the business.
Providing IT assistance to our 2nd and 3rd Level IT support team.
Logging support tickets and monitoring SLAs using our helpdesk management system.
Liaising with other Departments to carry out tasks, such as desk/office moves, training, and offsite user support.
Troubleshooting user issues and assisting with their queries.
Setting up PCs or Laptops for new users.
Providing Audio Visual support in the meeting room areas.
Providing Audio and Video Conferencing Support.
Providing general business application support (Document Management, Citrix, Email etc).
Fixing hardware issues with PCs, Laptops or Printers.
Monitoring IT Environment using tools which provide real-time reporting and dashboards.
Other Level 1 IT duties as required.
The Person Minimum 6 months of proven experience on a helpdesk dealing directly with end-user queries.
Must be tech savvy with good troubleshooting skills.
Good communication skills with Fluent German language skills.
Strong ability to work well under pressure.
Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently.
Excellent team skills with a willingness to learn new technologies.
A degree of flexibility with regard to ad-hoc duties and working hours.
