About the Role
As Hospitality Operations Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager to uphold exceptional standards, elevate operations, and help shape the atmosphere and experience across the bar, restaurant, and music spaces. You'll bring fresh ideas, support staff development, and stay ahead of emerging nightlife trends to keep the venue buzzing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the General Manager with day‑to‑day operations and strategic venue goals.
2. Ensure smooth running of the bar, restaurant, and live‑music areas throughout every shift.
3. Lead and support the team through ongoing training, coaching, and performance development.
4. Uphold high service standards and ensure all team members deliver exceptional guest experiences.
5. Bring fresh, original ideas to enhance service, events, promotions, and guest engagement.
6. Think outside the box to help keep the venue exciting, relevant, and full of atmosphere.
7. Maintain a warm, energetic, and guest‑focused environment that stands out from the crowd.
8. Resolve guest issues quickly and professionally to ensure memorable visits.
9. Maintain impeccable health, safety, hygiene, and service standards across all departments.
10. Trend Awareness & Local Insight
11. Stay up to date with local events, musicians, nightlife trends, and entertainment culture.
12. Use these insights to support event planning, bookings, and creative programming.
13. Oversee cash handling, cash-up procedures, and financial accuracy at end of shift.
14. Lead from the front – stepping in on the floor, bar, or during live events to maintain flow and momentum.
15. Act as the on‑shift link between management and the wider team, ensuring clear communication and strong teamwork.
What You Bring
16. 3-5 years' experience in a hospitality management or supervisory role
17. Strong background in a busy bar or late‑night environment
18. Experience in a music venue, live events, or nightlife setting (a major advantage)
19. A creative mindset with the confidence to bring new ideas to the table
20. Strong people‑leadership, communication, and motivational skills
21. Passion for hospitality trends, live music, and the local scene
22. Ability to multitask and thrive in fast‑paced, high‑energy settings
23. Flexibility to work day, evening, late night, and weekend shifts
