The Internal Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the internal sales, administration, and trade counter functions within the warehouse. The role ensures efficient, cost-effective operations that comply with all relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies. A key focus is maintaining high levels of customer service and operational productivity while upholding Health & Safety and Quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop the Internal Sales, Administration, and Trade Counter teams.Ensure a high standard of customer service across all internal sales touchpoints.Manage internal sales targets and ensure KPIs are met.Oversee order processing, pricing, invoicing, credit control, and related administration.Maintain accurate and up-to-date price lists, catalogues, and customer account information.Coordinate daily with Procurement, Transport, and Warehouse teams to support efficient workflow and deliveries.Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures, completing regular checks and participating in risk assessments.Implement and maintain company policies, SOPs, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Support communication with external sales reps regarding project enquiries and pricing.Job RequirementsProven experience in internal sales, customer service, or trade counter management (construction/warehouse sector preferred).Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel (ERP experience a plus).Track record of achieving KPIs and delivering strong service levels.Highly organised with strong planning and time management abilities.Commitment to Health & Safety and continuous improvement.Positive, proactive, and customer-focused mindset.SIG Ireland as part of SIG PLC, is passionate about our Commitment Culture The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, agility and be passionate about what they do.
