Maintenance Fitters County Donegal Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality coarse feeds for animals.
Role Profile: The successful candidate will be involved in providing preventative maintenance and process improvements of automated machinery to maximise production efficiency, assist with ongoing upgrades of the plant and maintaining mill hygiene standards.
The Person best suited will: Have at least three years previous relevant experience; Have experience in undertaking fault finding analysis; Have the ability to undertake mechanical tasks, including welding and fabrication; Have knowledge and working experience of pneumatic systems; Ideally have experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System and good IT skills; Ideally have an engineering or mechanical qualification or equivalent; Have experience of working in the animal feed milling industry would be an advantage.
Applicants should be self- motivated with excellent communication, organisational and team working skills.
Hours of work are based on a three week rotating pattern: Week 1: Monday- Thursday 7am- 3.30pm and Friday 7am-2.30pm Week 2: Monday- Thursday 8am- 4.30pm and Friday 8am- 3.30pm Week 3: Monday- Thursday 3pm-11.30pm and Friday 3pm-10.30pm Availability for call outs and weekend work required on a rotating basis.
There will also be a requirement to work outside normal work pattern hours should it be necessary Rate of pay – TBC – Hourly paid plus any relevant benefits such as pension etc.
