Technical Support Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our users, managing Microsoft 365 environments, and maintaining client IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Security & Compliance).
* Administer Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) for identity management, MFA, conditional access, and security.
* Configure and support devices through Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager (policies, compliance, app deployment).
* Provide hardware and network support, including troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, Wi-Fi, and AV equipment.
* Work through a ticketing system to log, track, and resolve issues within agreed SLAs.
* Deliver excellent client service to teachers, staff, and administrators in schools and ETBs.
* Maintain clear documentation of technical processes and solutions.
* Assist with security, compliance, and IT best practice initiatives across client sites.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in Microsoft 365 administration.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra (Azure AD).
* Experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
* Good troubleshooting skills across networks, Windows devices, and printers.
* Hands-on experience using a ticketing/helpdesk system (e.g. Freshdesk, Zendesk, ServiceNow).
* Understanding of cybersecurity best practices (MFA, data protection, phishing awareness).
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
* Full clean driving licence and access to own transport (role will involve some client travel).
