Reperio has partnered with a leading technology organisation seeking an experienced .NET Software Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team focused on building scalable and maintainable software systems.
This is a remote position based in Dublin, Ireland, offering the opportunity to work on end-to-end software delivery—from planning and design to implementation, deployment, and monitoring. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across the Microsoft tech stack, embrace modern engineering practices, and bring a proactive mindset for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain high-quality software using the Microsoft stack: .NET 8, MVC, Web API, and C#.
2. Design and implement RESTful services and microservices.
3. Collaborate with architecture and product teams to create and refine solution designs and proofs of concept.
4. Participate in and conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
5. Own your code through the development lifecycle, including testing, CI/CD pipelines, and production monitoring.
6. Champion clean code practices using SOLID principles, IoC, and TDD.
Requirements:
7. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
8. Proven experience in C#, MVC, and .NET Core/8.
9. Strong understanding of RESTful architecture, Web API, and microservices.
10. Experience with TDD, dependency injection, and SOLID principles.
11. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as ArgoCD, Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
12. Good knowledge of observability practices (metrics, logging, tracing).
13. Some experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or NServiceBus.
Desirable:
14. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
15. Experience with MS SQL, RavenDB, or Entity Framework.
16. Knowledge of UI automation tools like Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.
17. Experience in an Agile development environment.
18. Scripting knowledge in Ruby or similar languages.
