Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in tooling and industrial equipment procurement and installation. This role will lead end‑to‑end project execution for new equipment installations, upgrades, and tooling projects, ensuring alignment with production requirements, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Execution
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for tooling and equipment projects.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, operations, maintenance, and suppliers.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Procurement & Vendor Management
Source and evaluate suppliers for tooling and industrial equipment.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure cost‑effective procurement.
Manage vendor relationships and oversee compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Installation & Commissioning
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of industrial equipment and tooling.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements during installation.
Validate equipment performance and handover to operations.
Budget & Reporting
Track project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders and management.
Drive continuous improvement in project execution and cost efficiency.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Proven expertise in tooling and industrial equipment procurement and installation.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment specifications.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, SAP, or similar).
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred:
PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local market.
Pay Range: $46.50 - $48.50
