An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager with daa International reporting directly into the SVP Business Development. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving daa International's growth and expansion across technical services, concessions, and investment opportunities globally.The individual will play a leading role in building on daa International's success by executing our growth strategy, farming pipeline leads into real opportunities (from scoping to closing), developing strategic partnerships (current and prospective), curating business cases, and managing an exciting portfolio of stakeholders, partners, and projects simultaneously.The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in business development, with extensive experience in commercial growth, networking, strategic partnerships, sales, marketing, and stakeholder management, ideally within the aviation sector. They will also have strong skills in presentation design and communications, with advanced expertise in creative tools (including PowerPoint, Adobe suite and others).This position will require periodic travel, sometimes at short notice. It will require close collaboration across daa International's teams (in Ireland and abroad), and direct engagement with senior external stakeholders, including Government Authorities, Clients, Investment Partners, and other companies within the daa Group. The individual must be an agile strategic thinker, able to multi-task across projects, and be fully aligned with daa International's ambitious vision and growth goals.1. Business Development Planning• Develop, refine, and implement comprehensive business development plans aligned with daa International's long-term objectives.• Lead in-depth analysis of market trends, regulatory developments, competitive dynamics, and geopolitical considerations to identify high-value opportunities across target regions.2. Partnership Management & Development• Act as a primary point of contact for select high-priority partners and prospects.• Cultivate, manage, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, airport authorities, airlines, investors, and strategic partners.• Identify, initiate, and develop strategic partnerships that enhance daa International's market access, positioning, and service offerings.3. Pipeline Development• Lead the identification, qualification, and development of business opportunities globally, including airport management contracts, consulting engagements, and investment ventures.• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, pitches, business cases, and executive-level presentations tailored to client needs.• Represent daa International at industry conferences, events, and onsite engagements.• Drive revenue growth by delivering against business development KPIs and financial targets.4. B2B Engagement & Marketing Strategies• Develop and implement targeted engagement strategies that support business development objectives across key markets.• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to produce high-quality, persuasive materials including brochures, presentations, digital assets, newsletters, and bid submissions.5. Advisory & Delivery Support• This role may also support daa International's Advisory & Delivery team in relevant tasks, particularly where the project has the potential to lead to more business. This may include market research, project management, benchmarking, commercial forecasting, and strategic assessments.
