Bracken Family Practice are on the lookout for a Medical Administrator/Receptionist on a full time basis for 3-4 days per week .GP Administration experience is essential with Socrates PAS system desirable but not essential.Salary will depend on experience.You must have minimum 2 years experience as a Medical Receptionist or Administrator in a GP Practice. Full training will be provided upon commencement. Applicants not meeting this criteria will be rejected.Key responsibilities of the Medical Receptionist:General admin duties including scanning reports, test results and correspondence, photocopying and filingRegistering new patients & creating chartsPreparing new appointments and pre-treatment packsBooking and confirming patient appointments by phone or emailPreparing charts for doctors clinicsLiaising with doctor re patient queriesManaging doctor's schedule as appropriateDealing with patient queries by phone or email on a daily basisProcessing patient medical recordsProviding reception cover for daily breaks/annual leave as required, which includes taking payments and issuing receiptsFaxing/emailing results to GP's/clinicsCovering and preparing other doctors clinics when secretaries are on annual leaveSupporting with administrative tasksSupporting and building customers numbers within the practiceWhat are we looking for?A motivated individual who has the ability to work on their own initiativeExcellent telephone manner, communication and interpersonal skillsIT proficient with MS office skillsA reliable individual with strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and discretionExcellent office administration and organisational skillsProfessional and friendly mannerExcellent typing skills with strong attention to detail and accuracyThe ability to manage patient needs in a fast-paced environmentJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Company eventsOn-site parkingAbility to commute/relocate:Balbriggan Co Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:GP administration : 2 years (required)Work Location: In person
