Construction Cost Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Construction Cost Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in providing comprehensive and innovative range of surveying services, including Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Specialist Construction Cost and Consultancy services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing estimates and cost plans for various types of developments using advanced software tools. They will also perform other duties as may reasonably be required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate and detailed documentation – reports, valuations, letters, financial reports
* Prepare tender documents as required by procurement choice
* Analyze tenders and prepare tender reports at all stages of procurement
* Prepare valuations and cost reports; re-measure as necessary and adjust variations
* Assist in the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims
* Prepare and agree final accounts
Requirements:
* 3+ years post graduate experience in a professional consultancy
* Chartered (desirable)
* Pre and post contract experience
* Excellent IT skills
* Excellent communications skills
* BSc essential in a construction related discipline
