Electrical Utilities Technician Role
This is a key position within our utilities group, responsible for the operation and maintenance of various systems on site.
* As part of the utilities team, you will be accountable for responding to operational issues associated with utilities equipment, as well as carrying out routine maintenance tasks in line with our site-wide system.
* You will also be responsible for assisting technicians with maintenance tasks and problem-solving, as well as completing all relevant documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
* The role involves delivering delegated engineering tasks in compliance with good engineering practice, statutory and corporate requirements, and keeping training up-to-date with client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operation and maintenance of site black and clean utilities systems and associated electrical systems.
* Assisting technicians with maintenance tasks and problem-solving.
* Completing all related documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Delivery of delegated engineering tasks in compliance with good engineering practice and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
* A time-served electrician with proven experience in high-volume manufacturing facilities.
* Working knowledge of automation and control systems.
* Able to work effectively in a team environment, possessing strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills, as well as good interpersonal skills.
* Motor controls AC/DC drives, medium voltage, and low-voltage diagnostic and maintenance experience essential.
* Highly computer literate, with experience working with computer maintenance management systems, SCADA systems, and building management systems.
