Job Description Plant Environmental, Health Safety Manager Overview Occupli is recruiting a Plant EHS Manager on behalf of a leading medical device manufacturer.
The role is responsible for ensuring full Environmental, Health Safety compliance, driving a strong safety culture, and supporting safe, reliable, and compliant plant operations.
Key Responsibilities Embed EHS standards into daily operations and promote a Zero-Harm culture.
Lead site audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Develop and implement the site EHS strategy aligned with organisational objectives.
Ensure compliance with all EHS legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
Maintain accurate EHS documentation, environmental records, and reporting metrics.
Deliver EHS training and coach employees to strengthen behavioural safety and environmental awareness.
Support emergency response planning and lead site safety teams.
Provide guidance to the site leadership team and collaborate with corporate EHS and regulatory bodies.
Lead and develop the EHS team to drive capability, performance, and engagement.
Requirements Qualifications Experience Degree in EHS, Engineering, Science, or related field.
Professional certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are an advantage.
10+ years' EHS experience in a highly regulated manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proven success improving safety performance and managing EHS systems.
Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, audits, incident investigation, and behavioural safety.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
