Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Primary Care team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy interventions to adults within the community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans to promote functional independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).
* Provide intervention in areas such as self-care, mobility, housing adaptations, equipment prescription, and falls prevention.
* Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Public Health Nurses, and GPs.
* Supervise and support junior staff students and Occupational Therapy Assistants ensuring high standards of practice.
* Participate in the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives within the Primary Care team.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
* A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
* Registration with the relevant professional body
* Experience working in a community setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
