Role Description The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Solution Engineer will be part of the IAM Engineering function within SMBC in our Tralee office.
The successful candidate will report to the IAM Engineering Team Lead.
The role of Security Solution Engineer overall focuses on engineering support of information systems including analyzing, designing, and delivering best practice solutions in Identity and Access Management to help drive our vision of automating our current manual process.
This role primarily liaises with other team leads, technical support staff and third-party vendors to meet security objectives in support of all entities in the Americas and EMEA.
Monitor system performance daily.
Provide support on IAM Engineering related issues.
The ideal candidate will be diligent, reliable, quick to learn and calm under pressure with a logical, methodical, and accurate approach to Identity Access Management (IAM).
Ability to take direction as part of a team and confident to apply themselves individually in line with team ethos.
Excellent observation skills, strong written and verbal communication skills.

Role Objectives Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Azure Identity Governance Analyze the existing process and design a new streamlined process Understand SMBC's Identity Access Management Vision, Strategy, regulation, policy and procedures Implement standardized, consolidated, and automated processes Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Ticketing Prepare and update documentation as required Supporting application teams with their Projects, queries, and issues Enforces Information Security policy guidelines and procedures Working with teams on process improvement and assisting with automation of current manual tasks to reduce manual work Support other IT departments requiring additional expertise to resolve user issues or provide internal support on system performance or maintenance needs.
Qualifications and Skills Able to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently Willingness to learn Highly self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative as well as under direction Excellent attention to detail and proven analytical and problem solving abilities Micorosoft Azure certification desired.
