The Role
As Audit Senior Manager, you will take full ownership of a substantial portfolio of clients, overseeing multiple audit engagements across a broad range of sectors. You’ll act as a senior point of contact for clients, provide strategic input, and lead audit teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes in line with professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee multiple audit engagements across a complex client portfolio
Review and sign off audit files in line with FRS 102 and auditing standards
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building long‑term relationships
Lead, mentor, and develop managers and wider audit teams
Support partners with planning, resourcing, and business development activity
Drive efficiencies, best practice, and continuous improvement across the audit function
About You
ACA / ACCA qualified
Minimum 5+ years’ post‑qualified experience in audit, including senior management level
Strong experience managing large, complex client portfolios
In‑depth technical knowledge of FRS 102 and audit regulations
Confident leader with excellent stakeholder and client management skills
Commercially aware, proactive, and strategic in approach
