Lir Chocolates is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team.Position type: Permanent Full‑TimeHours: 40Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday, 16.30 - 03.00Pay range: €20.19 per hour +12.5% up to midnight, 25% thereafter.Closing date: Friday 22nd May 2026ResponsibilitiesSupervise production teams on shift to deliver daily and weekly KPIs.Maintain full compliance with Quality Assurance, food safety, hygiene, SOPs and Health & Safety standards, ensuring audit‑ready at all times.Drive a right‑first‑time culture by monitoring line performance, conducting daily audits, addressing non‑conformances and implementing corrective actions.Effectively plan resources, changeovers and production schedules in collaboration with Planning, Warehouse, Set‑Up and Packing teams to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.Lead, motivate and develop team members through coaching, performance management, job rotation and training, supporting progression and building multi‑skilled teams.Ensure clear communication through effective shift handovers, daily review meetings and accurate completion of all production documentation and reports.Proactively identify and deliver continuous improvement and lean initiatives, challenging existing processes to improve efficiency, quality and team behaviours.Act as a visible, hands‑on leader on the floor, maintaining high housekeeping standards and ensuring safe working practices are followed by all employees.QualificationsProven supervisory or leadership experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG production environment.Strong operational knowledge of production processes, KPI delivery, labour planning, changeovers and resource optimisation.Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop teams at all levels.Experience working within Quality Assurance and food safety systems.Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to prioritise, multitask and make practical decisions under pressure.High attention to detail with the ability to accurately record, review and report operational data and production performance.Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to support different shifts or areas of the factory as business needs require.Benefits20 days, plus public holidays1.5% company‑matched employee pension planDeath in service benefitCycle to work scheme (subject to meeting minimum criteria)Employee Assistance ProgrammeEqual Opportunity EmployerLir Chocolates is an equal opportunity employer.
