Overview
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Clerical Officer to join a healthcare services company in Sligo. This role is a three-month contract and will involve working all shift cycles including weekdays, weeknights and weekends.
Responsibilities
* Day to day office duties e.g. correspondences, post, typing, faxing, photocopying, filing, etc.
* Logging all enquiries/telephone calls, complaints, etc. Prioritising same, dealing with queries, keeping supervisor/manager informed of progress and activities.
* Assist in the drafting and issue of letters, memos and general information to internal customers, clients and general public.
* Populate, maintain and update local databases and records.
* Work closely with all functions within the hospital to deliver planned services of your department.
* Organise and schedule meetings.
* To collect, sort and distribute the Department’s mail each morning.
Qualifications
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent is required.
* Previous experience working in a similar position.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Basic hours are 35 hours per week.
* The successful candidate will be required to undergo training across all areas of the department.
