Ergo are seeking aTest Analystfor ashort-term contractin Dublin 7. In this role you will work with the Test manager in the execution of testing cycles for a client in the transport sector. This role will be responsible for providing 'Test and testing' support services including writing scripts as part of UAT phase.This is animmediatestart requiring2 days per week onsite.What will you do?Analyse project documentation and create test scripts and carry out the necessary testing with input from the business divisions or Project teamHelp deliver initial estimates of the testing effort needed for proposed testing cyclesEscalate the project risks affecting quality and delivery dates to PM and Senior Test leadMonitor, measure, control, and report to management on Test progress, product quality, Test results and Test Completion.Collaborate closely with the Senior Test lead, PM's, QA and BAs to improve the process and quality and to highlight any timeline impacts etc.Participate in daily meetings with the project team or Business unit to understand testing requirements.Work with third party suppliers for defect management where required.Document queries and defects and provide adequate data to allow rapid resolution.Review testing requirement for change requests, assessing the impact on test plans and schedulesWhat do you need?JIRA (with Zephyr test case add-on) for recording of Epics, Stories, test cases, executing testing, storing test evidence, raising defects and managing to closure .Report on test progress using JIRA & Zephyr reporting capabilities2-3 years previous hands-on experience as a Test Analyst working with developers, product specialists, Business Analysts, Project Managers and business stakeholders.Broad knowledge of Project Delivery / Software development lifecycle (Waterfall/Agile) Cloud technologies, functional and non-functional test methodologies
