Instrumentation Specialist:
In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing a comprehensive instrumentation strategy across biopharmaceutical process & utilities systems.
Evaluating new instrumentation to ensure functional equivalence to existing devices is crucial in maintaining operational efficiency. Your technical expertise in c GMP manufacturing will guide the configuration of specifications & standards for all site-based instruments.
A typical day may involve: Understanding common process & utilities instrumentation including but not limited to load cells, pressure transmitters/gauges, pH sensors, dissolved oxygen sensors, temperature sensors, mass flow meters, UV analyzers, conductivity sensors, TOC analyzers and level sensors Evaluating & specifying c GMP instrumentation for new installations or upgrading existing functionality Implementing corrective actions for faulty equipment Working knowledge of process automation control systems Conducting troubleshooting and root cause analysis Identifying opportunities to improve system performance Creating configuration specifications Assisting in design reviews Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements This role requires logical problem-solving skills Strong communication skills Analytical abilities Organisational aptitude A Bachelor's degree along with 5+ years experience as Senior Instrumentation Engineer is required
