24 hour call out on rota available on rotation

Job purpose
To provide first-class customer service and deliver high quality maintenance, service, fault diagnosis and repair of PSV & HGVs.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
This role is expected to grow and evolve over time and whilst the key responsibilities for the role are outlined below they are not limited to same
* Carry out fault diagnosis, service, maintenance and repair of HGVs & PSVs
* To carry out road testing and quality control inspections as required
* To complete all job-related paperwork in line with Harris and manufacturer standards
* To work within guideline standard times for all brands
* To always deliver professional and efficient customer service
* To work as part of a team, maintaining a good working relationship between colleagues and customers
* To liaise with the Parts department in relation to supply of parts as required
* To adhere to correct working and Health and Safety policies and procedures, highlighting any errors or safety issues promptly to Management
* To keep the working area clean and tidy
* Work with Technical Department to solve complex faults
* Travel to customer sites to carry out repairs
* To participate in training and development programmes as required by the Company
* To undertake any other duties or activities as required
Person specification
As the ideal candidate you will demonstrate a strong, stable and productive career within the Automotive industry with a desire to achieve greatness and be the best in your field.
You must have relevant experience and be a qualified HGV or LGV Technician, a resident in Ireland with full rights to work in the EU.

* Full clean B licence
* Experience with roadside breakdowns

Desirable Skills
· D licence (Bus/Coach)
· Experience with Wabco and Cummins software
· Experience with 3rd party software (Jaltest/Delphi)
· History of working in a main dealer
· Working on fully electric vehicles
· Diagnostic of wiring and CAN faults
