Financial Accountant – CorkWe are seeking a fully qualified Financial Accountant to support the day-to-day financial operations and reporting activities of the finance function. This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, analysis, compliance, and business partnering within a collaborative finance team.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting and forecasting processesPrepare and contribute to management reports for senior stakeholdersAnalyse monthly results, investigate variances and support financial reviewsAssist with cashflow, treasury, liquidity and working capital reporting and forecastingOwn and maintain accurate expense reporting processesSupport external audit processes and preparation of statutory financial statementsEnsure compliance with tax, statutory and regulatory requirementsAct as a finance business partner to internal departments, supporting operational and ad hoc initiativesProvide support across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll activitiesBuild and maintain effective working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholdersComplete bank and balance sheet reconciliations accurately and on timeMaintain the general ledger, including journal postings and month-end close activitiesSupport external financial filings (e.g. Revenue, CSO)Monitor and support cashflow forecastingMaintain the Fixed Asset Register, including additions and disposalsProvide cover for payroll processing when requiredRequirementsFully qualified ACCA, ACADegree in Finance/Accounting or related.3 years experience in similar role.CplCorkFin
