Job Summary
Staffline Recruitment are currently searching for General Operatives for their client, a leading food manufacturer based in Longford. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop their skill set by working in a range of different areas in the factory.
Duties for production operatives may include but are not limited to;
1. Inspection of products, ensuring highest quality result every time
2. Quality control checks, completing relevant paperwork and reporting issues where necessary
3. Operating production machines
4. Placing all necessary components into boxes before packaging and loading
5. Adhoc duties as required.
Job Type / Category for Production Operatives
The position available requires candidates who are flexible with their working hours, as the factory operates on a 24/7 basis. You will be required to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, however extra ad-hoc shifts are often available. Examples of shifts may be;
Week 1 - 06:45 to 15:00
Week 2 - 14:45 to 23:00
Mon to Friday
Essential Requirements:
6. Leaving Certificate or equivalent
7. Flexible and adaptable work ethic
8. Willingness to learn new skills
9. Excellent attention to detail
10. High standard of work
11. Recognises the importance of quality
Desirable:
12. Previous experience in a manufacturing roles
13. Previous experience working nights/weekends
14. HACCP experience
