* Lead the 1st Line of Defence privacy operating model to ensure alignment with firmwide requirements and applicable law.
* Develop and support programs to enhance AWM's privacy program, driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
* Advise on privacy requirements for new projects, providing expert guidance and risk mitigation strategies.
* Foster collaboration among committees and forums to provide transparency and drive delivery of privacy initiatives.
* Partner with the business to design and execute controls that address privacy business needs and mitigate risks.
* Support the business in preparing for privacy-related exams, compliance tests, and audits, ensuring seamless execution.
* Promote transparency through governance, reporting, and metrics that support the privacy framework.

The ideal candidate will possess experience building and managing privacy programs in regulated financial institutions, expertise in global privacy laws including GDPR, and ability to articulate thoughtful rationale in process and product design decisions with geographically dispersed teams.
