Job Description:

Provides and uses Foreign Exchange contracts and other instruments to help execute the FX Strategy of HPE. Handles foreign currency management. Identifies and manages FX, financial, organizational, and operational risks. Assists with development of organizational FX policies, conducts special economic model analysis and assessments and works with other units within the Finance function.

Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

Responsibilities:

* Applies treasury and FX subject matter expertise in multiple areas of specialization to contribute to treasury programs of the highest complexity.

* Communicates with senior managers to deliver guidance and desired results for treasury and FX programs.

* Is accountable for impact analysis of FX initiatives and the financial and legal outcomes of programs.

* Manages FX projects that have an impact across the organization and at multiple levels.

* Leads priority projects and provides review and recommendation on current processes and technologies that facilitate operational efficiencies.

* Works with and provides suggestions and recommendations to tax, legal, and audit functions as well as businesses on areas related to tax planning, foreign exchange, risk management and treasury solutions.

* Establishes and maintains relationships with business or functional leaders.

* Identifies areas for improvement to treasury and FX processes.

* Leads multiple, complex programs simultaneously (e.g., managing consultants, vendors, matrixed employees).

* Develops relationships with industry professionals and/or external organizations to maintain current market trends knowledge for internal use.

Education and Experience Required:

* First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.

* Typically 10+ years related experience in finance, audit, and/or accounting.

* Relevant certification preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

* Complete systematic understanding of FX processes, as well as other Treasury and Finance functions.

* Advanced knowledge of the regulatory environment as it relates to treasury and FX activities.

* Advanced communication, leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills.

* Exceptional financial and business acumen.

* Excellent project management, problem solving, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to execute a project within the scope of overall strategies.

* Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

* Understanding of AI and Automation based tools to enable deliver of efficiency updates for key internal processes
