We are currently recruiting an experienced and reliable Catering Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of a busy catering operation.
This role is ideal for someone who leads by example, is confident managing service, and is comfortable with responsibility – including till management when required.
Key Responsibilities Supervise catering staff to ensure smooth and efficient daily service Open and close the catering unit, including till operation and cashing up Handle customer transactions and oversee POS systems Ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness are maintained at all times Act as the main point of contact on-site during shifts, including lone working when required Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies Requirements Previous supervisory experience in a catering or food-service environment desirable Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills Proven experience with till operation, cash handling, and cashing up Ability to work independently and confidently during lone-working shifts Excellent customer-service skills Reliable, punctual, and well-presented HACCP required; Manual Handling desirable (training can be facilitated if needed) Benefits of Working with Excel Recruitment Monday to Friday hours Weekly pay Holiday pay accrual Ongoing opportunities within catering contracts across Tipperary This is a great opportunity for a strong catering professional looking to step into a responsible supervisory role with flexibility and consistent work.
