The role is based in Dublin and operates on a hybrid working model.
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Leader to oversee the end-to-end delivery and transition of enterprise technology services, ensuring excellence across multiple partners, platforms, and environments.
This role will drive strategic direction, governance, performance optimization, and operational stability for software and ERP delivery particularly within complex, multi-vendor ecosystems.
The successful candidate will lead service delivery strategy, establish frameworks and best practices, and ensure alignment with long-term business objectives while fostering collaboration across technology teams, business stakeholders, and external providers.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and implement the strategic vision for the service delivery function.
Align delivery operations with long-term organizational goals.
Design and implement scalable service delivery frameworks, methodologies, and standards.
Delivery Governance & Execution Oversee end-to-end software and ERP delivery across multiple partners.
Establish governance structures and quality gates.
Manage release schedules and deployment transparency.
Ensure compliance with Agile, Dev Ops, and ITIL best practices.
Project Transition & Handover Lead structured handover from major programs (e.g., Project Dawn) into operational service.
Ensure seamless transition from project delivery to live service environments.
Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with business leaders, vendors, and technical teams.
Communicate performance, risks, and improvements clearly to stakeholders.
Performance & Improvement Define KPIs and SLAs to measure service effectiveness.
Analyse metrics and implement improvements.
Drive innovation and adoption of new tools and methodologies.
Risk & Compliance Identify service delivery risks and mitigation strategies.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
Operational Management Oversee incident, problem, and change processes.
Manage dependencies across multi-tier environments.
Support automation initiatives and deployment optimization.
Required Experience & Technical Expertise 10+ years in Service Delivery Management within enterprise environments.
Proven experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations, particularly SAP environments.
Strong understanding of: SAP transport management and landscape strategies Release cycles and deployment governance Quality gates and Path-to-Live processes Experience with service management platforms such as Service Now Familiarity with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure Knowledge of automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to manage complex technical dependencies across environments.
Strong understanding of S4, SAP Rise, and enterprise architecture ecosystems.
