Avem is a B2B Contract Sales & Strategic Market Development company supporting global medical device suppliers to medtec, that are entering into new markets or developing existing markets in Europe and the UK. We specialize in minimally invasive and surgical devices, including components, sub-assemblies, and finished devices. Our B2B contract technical sales services support CDMOs and OEMs at various stages of their product lifecycle, from product design and concept development to prototyping and manufacturing.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development-Technical Sales professional located in Galway, with some work-from-home flexibility. The chosen candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities and building relationships for our clients in our “Suppliers to Medtec” portfolio.
The ideal candidate should have a technical background preferablly in Medical Devices and experience in B2B Sales & Business Development. The candidate should have strong interperonal and communications skills to develop lasting relationships.
Qualifications
* Qualifications in Engineering, and/or Business Development, Research/Marketing, Sales/Customer Management, or a related fields
* Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
* Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience in the medical device industry is an advantage
The candidate must have fluent in the English language, be able to travel internationally and have a full clean drivers licence to fullfill their duties and must be located in Ireland.
