Job DescriptionHealth and Safety Advisor - Dublin About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our growing team and support civil engineering projects throughout the Dublin region. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring all operations on-site are compliant with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) legislation, company policies, and industry best practices.This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional with a strong civil engineering or construction background who thrives in a fast-paced site environment and values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations across multiple civil engineering sitesConduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, and ensure corrective actions are implementedProvide guidance and support to site management and workers on all HSE mattersDeliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and inductions for site personnel and subcontractorsDevelop, review, and maintain safety documentation including RAMS, safety statements, and site-specific risk assessmentsInvestigate and report on accidents, incidents, near misses, and non-compliancesLiaise with clients, regulatory bodies and internal teams regarding safety performance and auditsPromote a positive health & safety culture through engagement, education, and visibility on-siteMaintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practicesRequirementsMinimum 3+ years' experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within civil engineering or constructionRelevant Health & Safety qualification Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation, particularly in relation to civil works, roadworks, utilities, and groundworksDemonstrated experience working across multiple sites or large-scale infrastructure projectsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skillsProficient in MS Office and reporting toolsFull, clean Irish driving licenceValid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificationFor further information please contact Thomas in Brightpath Recruitment
