The Production Planner will ensure raw materials, production schedules, and finished goods are planned, coordinated, and delivered to meet customer demand on time and in full.
This role involves managing production scheduling end-to-end, working closely with Sales, Production, and Logistics teams to optimise supply chain performance and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Plan and schedule raw materials, production, and logistics to meet business and customer requirements Develop and maintain production schedules, optimising capacity across all supply chain stages Analyse historical sales trends, forecast demand, and refine planning models Coordinate cross-functional teams, leading planning meetings and resolving variances Monitor inventory, stock levels, and production performance, implementing corrective actions as needed Drive process improvements, KPI reporting, and initiatives to reduce stock holding and enhance efficiency Ensure GMP compliance, timely deliveries, and accurate stock management, including finished goods Production Planner Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing or production planning with strong supply chain knowledge Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems for planning and reporting Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills Commercially aware with understanding of forecasting methodologies and supply chain optimisation Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Interested?
