Job Title: HR Advisor
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide proactive, effective, and efficient HR services to internal customers and people managers.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Employee Relations: Providing professional support and advice to employees on a range of employment issues including conditions of service, policies, and procedures.
* Manager Support: Assisting managers in dealing with HR matters as appropriate with confidentiality and to appropriate time scales.
* Workplace Management: Handling short and long-term sick leave, including home visits, welfare meetings, GP reports, and Occupational Health referrals as required.
* Disciplinary Procedures: Managing capability, performance, and disciplinary case management.
* Training and Development: Facilitating the development of HR skills in managers by advising and training on matters of employment law and best employment practice.
* Payroll Processing: Supporting the payroll process, including changes to staff details and ensuring accuracy of information when inputting into the HR system.
* HR Systems: Ensuring the accuracy of information when inputting into the HR system and producing reports from the HR system as required.
Qualifications and Experience: A relevant HR qualification is advantageous. Demonstrable experience working in a similar role is essential, particularly previous exposure to managing employee relations issues.
