My client based in Dublin City Centre are seeking an experienced CCNP-certified Network Engineer to join a highly skilled technical team supporting and delivering enterprise-grade network solutions.
This role is suited to a hands‑on engineer with strong routing, switching, and troubleshooting expertise, comfortable working in complex, high-availability environments.
You will play a key role in the design, implementation, and support of enterprise networks, working across multiple technologies and collaborating closely with internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching technologies in production environments
Support network upgrades, migrations, and new deployments
Diagnose and resolve complex network incidents and performance issues
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration standards
Ensure network security, resilience, and availability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve technical issues
Participate in change management and planned out-of-hours work when required
Required Skills & Experience
Valid CCNP certification (mandatory)
Strong experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies
In‑depth knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
Hands‑on experience with enterprise LAN/WAN architectures
Strong troubleshooting skills in complex network environments
Experience working with network security concepts and firewalls
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Nice to Have
Experience with wireless networking solutions
Exposure to network monitoring and management tools Experience in service provider or managed services environments
Additional certifications (e.g.
CCNP Security, CCIE track, vendor equivalents)
