Essentials Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering, 4+ years' design experience in consultancy, proven ability to produce electrical tender documentation, proficiency in Auto CAD (Revit desirable), strong technical knowledge of building services systems, full driving licence and own car Progression Opportunity to develop into a leadership role, managing and growing the Building Services Electrical Design Department Reporting into MEP Director Overview / Role description Our client, a multidisciplinary consultancy delivering high-value industrial and commercial projects nationwide, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Limerick.
They cover all aspects of electrical systems, from wiring and power distribution to control systems and energy management.
This is a pivotal role supporting the design and delivery of electrical systems across a wide range of projects, such as distilleries, data centres, food manufacturing, and chemical facilities.
Responsibilities Hands-on experience with power supply and distribution systems, general electrical services, fire protection, lighting and emergency lighting, data and communication systems, CCTV, access control, intruder systems, and integration with mechanical systems.
Experience with Auto CAD is essential; Revit capability would be an advantage.
