Your new role
As a Civil Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and leading teams on site.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
2. Ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
3. Working on all aspects of groundwork on projects.
4. Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications.
5. Monitoring site safety and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
6. Liaising with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
7. Conducting regular site inspections and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
8. Maintaining accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any changes to plans.
What you'll need to succeed
9. Proven experience as a Civil Foreman in residential construction.
10. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
11. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
12. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
13. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
14. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
15. Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or a related field.
