Role Description
The Village Hotel is seeking a full-time Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its restaurant and gastro bar. Based on-site in Bettystown, the Restaurant Manager will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, managing staff hiring and training, coordinating with the kitchen staff to maintain food quality, and overseeing floor operations to ensure smooth service. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining inventory, driving customer engagement, and implementing service enhancements. The role requires hands-on leadership and excellent interpersonal skills to create a warm and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction to ensure exceptional guest experiences and address guest needs effectively.
* Proficiency in team management to recruit, mentor, and lead a dedicated and motivated team.
* Excellent Communication skills to convey information clearly, resolve conflicts, and foster collaboration among staff and guests.
* Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations to oversee menu planning, quality control, and coordination with kitchen staff.
* Strong leadership abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail for managing day-to-day operations and maintaining high standards.
* Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant management is highly desirable.
* Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
