BIM Manager/ Digital Lead
at one of Ireland's leading Architectural practices, with offices in Dublin and Galway. This role will specifically focus on strategically leading the practice through continued growth and advancement in BIM, AI and digitalisation of our work.
COADY Architects
is a design-driven architectural practice, specialising in workplace, housing, education and healthcare building. We began implementing BIM on our projects in 2011 and are currently delivering numerous projects to ISO 19650, involving our clients, design teams and contractors.

Role:
The key role of the BIM Manager is to develop and assist in the strategic vision and implementation of BIM, digital design strategies and AI systems in the practice. They will develop and manage office policies, protocols and coordinate with our IT manager. They will lead BIM Management across the office and coordinate with our Studio BIM Leads and Project BIM Co-ordinators.
Responsibilities:
The roles/responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Support the practice management in developing our BIM and Digital strategic plan, and report to the practice management on its implementation

* Lead the practice accreditation in ISO 19650
* Manage the consistent adoption of the practice's BIM policies and protocols across the business and different offices, assisting with project audits
* Support staff training and upskilling to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency of delivery of our project work
* Develop BIM capability statement and marketing material, assist with new work submissions
* Develop project implementation and mobilisation plans, assist with new project setup and lead client and design team project strategy meetings
* Assist project teams with project BEPs, project setups and contractual requirements
* Assist project teams with project requirements, federation of models and clash detection audits and reports
* Develop BIM workflows, processes and research new software and technologies
* Oversee and manage the practice libraries
Requirements:
* Min 5 years' experience in the role, ideally in the Irish construction sector
* Familiarity with ISO 19650 processes and documentation
* Knowledge and experience of industry best practice
* Knowledge and experience of multiple software systems and Common Data Environments
* Ability to write policy documentation and reports, and prepare presentations
* Ability to strategically plan and implement policy/processes
* Experience in managing teams, setting goals, evaluating outcomes and reporting to management level
* Experience in assessing staff competencies, developing and implementing staff training programmes
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to present to client bodies and to senior management
* Knowledge and experience of digital design processes
* Knowledge and experience of imbedding AI into BIM process.
* Strong hands-on knowledge of Autodesk AEC Suite (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
* Proficiency in MS office suite
* Proven leadership in BIM implementation across project lifecycles.
* Degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, Engineering or related field (NFQ Level 8+).
* Experience with digital asset management, Dynamo/API, or GIS advantage
* Master's in BIM Management, ISO 19650 and Autodesk certifications advantage
