Hello! We are working closely with a global leading Engineering contractor who is involved in innovative projects across different sectors domestically and internationally. They have an opportunity for an Senior Electrical Design Engineer. The design engineer must have experience in the Pharma/Bio-Pharma and Semiconductor industries. The successful applicant will work from their Tipperary office.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent is required.Awareness on sustainable design practices and technologies evaluation plus providing input on new design concepts which were not a part of the original scope of work is essential for this role, also management skills, knowledge ISO/IEEE standards, Data centre experience. Many responsibilities such as undertaking electrical systems design including but not limited to HV/MV/LV power systems normal/emergency lighting systns Earthing & Lightning Protection layouts schematics calculations reports specifications detailed coordination with inter disciplines Field Design Verification during project cycle factory acceptance tests site acceptance tests respond all vendors consultants respond sitrfis reviews specialists conduct lead site meetings resolve construction issues,
